Meet the Senior Team
Eimear Connery heads up our Aviation Technical Advisory Services and is also Operations Director. She is a Chartered Civil Engineer with over 18 years' of experience in the industry. She joined Infrata in 2016, from Aecom whom she was with for over 11 years through their legacy companies URS and Scott Wilson, bringing with her, her broad range of airport project experience and skills including master planning, feasibility assessments, due diligence studies, design and monitoring of major infrastructure developments worldwide including on the design of the New Istanbul Airport. Since joining Infrata she has been involved in projects across all infrastructure classes with her main focus in recent years being airports and the aviation industry. Eimear leads our services for both the US$9.5 billion, New Terminal One Project at JFK, which reached financial close in June last year, and the US$1.25 billion expansion project at Jorge Chávez International Airport, Lima which closed in December last year.
Luca Benedini is our Technical Director and Head of T&R at Infrata. He has 25 plus years of experience in the Transport and Energy Infrastructure sectors. He has substantial experience in supporting demand risk based transactions, offering demand and revenue advisory services to developers, investors and banks across Europe, the Americas, Asia and Africa. Luca has led projects on various types of tolled transportation infrastructures (roads, bridges, express lanes), and has managed demand forecasts for car parks, pipelines and irrigation water canals.
Prior to joining the consultancy business, Luca worked for ExxonMobil in a variety of commercial and supply optimisation roles both in the downstream and upstream businesses across Europe.
Luca obtained an MA in International Trades in Italy and an MSc in Transport at Imperial College, UK. He is a native Italian speaker and fluent in English and Spanish.
Mauricio is a Civil Engineer with over 20 years experience in the construction industry in Colombia and the UK. Through his experience, Mauricio has had the opportunity to take part on highly complex and challenging infrastructure projects, such as Crossrail in London. He has previously been involved in project management on various transport infrastructure projects in LATAM as an independent consultant, specialising on project, construction and risk management areas.
Jonathan has over 30 years of experience in the aviation sector. He has an extensive track record in the field of traffic forecasting, leading projects covering 225 different airports in more than 50 countries across the world. He also has expertise in the areas of strategy, route development and financial analysis.
Prior to becoming a consultant, Jonathan began his career at British Airways where he spent 7 years with management positions in Strategy, Network Development and Alliances.
Olma is an anthropologist, with an MSc in Environment and Development. She has 20 years' of experience in environmental and social management. She offers a deep knowledge of social, cultural and land matters.
She has worked for large consulting companies in Colombia as a director, project manager and as environmental and social advisor (LSA). She is an expert in due diligence, environmental compliance and asset acquisition processes for the lending bank, private investors and sponsors, with verification of compliance with IFC standards, Equator Principles, IDB safeguards and FDN guidelines.

He has extensive experience in shipping, port and development projects, gained whilst working at Ocean Shipping Consultants and Royal Haskoning-DHV, in the consultancy field. Since becoming a consultant in 2007, he has produced numerous maritime studies related to the container industry and all other major shipping sectors, particularly in the African, Caribbean, Central America, North & South America, Canadian, Middle East, Mediterranean, Black Sea and Baltic regions. Steve is also a regular contributor on the conference circuit having given papers at conferences held in Accra, Odessa, Bilbao, Gdansk, Szczecin, Rostock, Tallinn, Riga, St. Petersburg, Klaipeda, Istanbul, Barcelona, Valencia, Amsterdam, London, Bremerhaven, Doha, Maputo, Dar-es-Salaam, Durban and Antananarivo on a variety of topics related to changes within the shipping industry and forecast predictions for the future developments. Before being recruited by OSC, he worked for more than 19 years with liner shipping companies P&O Containers, P&O Nedlloyd and Maersk Line. Steve has an intimate understanding of the perspective of the port users to analyses in this sector and have first-hand experience of the North European and Mediterranean/Black Sea container feeder markets, as well as Transatlantic, Transpacific and African/Red Sea deep sea and feeder trades.
Brendan is a sustainability consultant with over 20 years of experience. He provides high quality and pragmatic advisory services on both brownfield and greenfield projects across all infrastructure sectors and real estate.
He works in transactions and project finance, as well as supporting asset owners/operators to protect value and realise value potential. He does this through due diligence, environmental and social assessments, monitoring through construction and operations, mitigation and action planning, and focussed assessments covering climate risk, decarbonisation, human rights and more. He works to client-specific briefs and also to international environmental and social standards, including the Equator Principles, the IFC Performance Standards and the EBRD Environmental and Social Requirements.
Brendan also leads Infrata's work as an Approved Verifier of Climate Bonds and for assurance across other green, social and sustainable debt instruments.
He is a member of the Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals and a Chartered Environmentalist.
Ana Fernández González is a MSc in Civil Engineering (UPM), MBA expert in diverse challenges of construction and transportation business. She has a robust 18 years' history in international Public Private Partnerships and varied infrastructure projects providing end-to-end solutions.
Ana has closely liaised with all the stakeholders involved in the industry and the financing of projects in several countries. From the origination to the commissioning, ramp-up and operational stages and throughout the whole concession period. Ana has also led the deployment of best practices and corporate policies in all portfolio assets.
Antonio is a highly accomplished advisor with over 14 years of experience in the infrastructure and energy sectors. He has successfully led more than 90 asset transactions and financing projects across Europe, the Americas, APAC, the Middle East, and Africa. Currently serving as Technical Director, Antonio leads EMEA and APAC technical & capital projects advisory services for Infrata on multibillion projects.
His expertise encompasses contract and asset management for large capital projects, concessions, and construction contracts. Antonio specializes in risk management across diverse portfolios, ensuring investment protection and the optimization of returns.
Prior to joining Infrata, Antonio held key commercial and technical roles in strategic and large projects across the UK. He is a qualified MSc Civil Engineer and holds an MBA from the LSC.
Paul has over 30 years of experience in the global airports sector. He started his career with UK airports operator BAA in the 1990s supporting their strategy, commercial, and operational areas. He has been a consultant to airport operators, investors, lenders, economic regulators and governments since 2008, specialising in particular in traffic forecasting and assessment of airport profitability. Paul joined Infrata earlier in 2025 as a Technical Director.
He has advised at over 150 airports worldwide, ranging from some of the world's largest hubs to small regional airfields, across a range of airports with different governance and regulatory structures, and covering each of the main continents. In particular this has included extensive experience advising at airports in Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. In addition, Paul is a lecturer for Airports Council International in their global AMPAP programme.

Ray has spent over 30 years in the PPP field, providing technical advice to public and private sector clients, including bid management/direction, technical and commercial due diligence for bidding consortia, rating agencies, and lenders throughout the world. In addition to working on bid stage due diligence, Ray has also worked on construction, drawdown, operations, maintenance, and asset renewal monitoring.
John Gibbon is a Chartered Engineer and a leading transportation consultant. He specialises in railway planning, operations, multi-modal transportation systems, light rail systems, airports, and ports.
John has been involved in the financial modelling of transportation infrastructure, such that it can be reviewed for privatisation, restructuring, or investment from the public or private sector.
Weronika is a Managing Consultant at Infrata and has over 16 years of experience as technical advisor on public private partnership (PPP/P3) transport and social infrastructure projects in Europe, North America, Middle East and Africa covering both primary and secondary market transactions.
Weronika’s versatile experience includes: transaction advisory services for PPP transport projects to grantors, lenders due diligence (including post financial close construction monitoring and operations monitoring), secondary market transactions (buyers and vendors) with due diligence reviews ranging from single asset to large portfolio of assets, pavement asset management, highways maintenance and assessment of lifecycle provisions for long-term road concessions and transport related assets.
Ruth is a MSc Civil Engineer (UPM) and a Certified PPP Professional (APMG). A senior business development, technical & commercial and asset management executive with more than 22 years of experience in the global infrastructure market, she has a proven track record in several sectors and geographies, both as an equity investor and as an independent adviser.
As an equity investor, Ruth brings extensive hands-on experience in large infrastructure projects, both greenfield and brownfield, in all their different phases, including development, financing/refinancing, acquisitions/divestments, and asset management.
As an independent adviser, she has a broad experience acting as LTA to top-tier international financial institutions (including institutional investors and multilaterals) for the financing, refinancing, and monitoring of large infrastructure assets, and also as technical & commercial due diligence adviser to equity investors, industrial and financial, in competitive and bilateral sale processes, both on the buy and sell sides.

Nadine is a Managing Consultant who has been providing traffic and revenue advisory services to Sponsors, Lenders and Investors for tolled infrastructure projects in Europe, Asia and the Americas for over 15 years. Her particular expertise lies in the development and review of network models for the purpose of traffic and revenue forecasting.
Prior to joining Infrata Nadine gained substantial experience as a transport modeller at Mott MacDonald building strategic network models for forecasting traffic on highway and multi-modal transport projects globally.
Nadine holds an MSc in Civil Engineering from the Technical University of Braunschweig in Germany where she specialized in transport planning, railways and highways. She is a native German speaker and fluent in English.

Mitchell Stirling is a Managing Consultant, with over 15 years of experience in the transport and infrastructure industry. He specialises in strategic forecasting, scenario modelling, and data-driven decision-making. At Heathrow Airport, Mitchell led the delivery of medium-term passenger forecasts and strategic baggage demand modelling to support business planning and capacity development. He also oversaw surface access data strategy and reporting, contributing to sustainable transport planning and policy engagement.
He has studied Applied Statistics (BSc) at the University of Reading and Scenario Planning at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Mitchell is a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society and is passionate about using data to shape sustainable and efficient transport strategies.
Gabriela is a Principal Consultant on the Technical Advisory team at Infrata. With over 7 years of experience, Gabriela’s career and professional interests include construction planning, supervision and management (cost estimation, scheduling, contract management and contract supervision, among others), as well as due diligence and monitoring of both traditional infrastructure loans (i.e., financing provided by development banks to public sector entities), also project finance transactions in different infrastructure sectors (roads, rail, social infrastructure, among others) and regions (North America, EMEA and LATAM).
Her qualifications include a Civil Engineering and a M.Sc. in Construction Management degrees, obtained at the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (Ecuador) and National Cheng Kung University (Taiwan), respectively. Gabriela is fluent in English and Spanish.’
Adam has 11 years’ experience in the airport sector, leading the business plan modelling on many airport equity and debt transactions across the globe. He has contributed to projects encompassing over 100 global airports.
Adam specialises in business plan forecasting and supporting analysis including detailed benchmarking studies and airport economic regulation models.
Prior to joining Altitude / Infrata, Adam worked for Macquarie Bank leading analysis on fast paced transactions.
Albert is a Civil Engineer with over 7 years of experience in the transport infrastructure sector, specialising in maritime, ports and logistics advisory.
He supports port authorities, terminal operators, lenders and investors on the commercial and financial structuring and due diligence of port concessions and terminal developments. He has participated in and led projects across Europe, Latin America, North America, Africa and the Middle East. His work includes commercial due diligence, feasibility studies, traffic and revenue forecasting, tariff strategy, and business plan development for both greenfield and brownfield terminals.
He is fluent in English, Spanish and Catalan.

He is fluent in English, Spanish and Catalan.
Alejandro is a Civil Engineer with over 15 years of experience and postgraduate degrees in roads and Project Management; currently, he is studying a Master's degree in Financial Management. During his professional career, he has been involved in many Infrastructure and road construction projects like 1G, 3G, and 4G Concessions in Colombia, South America.
Assaad Abou Karam is a Principal Consultant at Infrata and a Chartered Civil Engineer with a double degree from École des Ponts and ESIB Lebanon. He brings over 15 years of experience in the aviation sector advising on several airport projects.

Xabier is Industrial Engineer with over 7 years’ experience in major infrastructure PPP projects mainly acting as O&M Bid Manager in LRT projects worldwide and as Technical Advisor in numerous multibillion major infrastructure transactions.
Before joining Infrata, over 5 years at CAF, Xabier gained exposure to rail PPP projects including O&M scope, getting used to working within international environments and multidisciplinary teams. This background makes him familiar with material contractual aspects and key risks of a rail project. Xabier brings to the organization a remarkable technical knowledge of OPEX and asset management matters within the rail sector.
As Technical Advisor, Xabier has been involved in numerous major infrastructure projects supporting both lenders and equity investors for the success of the transaction, particularly during bidding and financial close stages. Xabier has participated in projects across several sectors across the world such as rail, roads, energy storage and social infrastructure involving technical due diligence and construction and operations monitoring activities.

Eimear Connery heads up our Aviation Technical Advisory Services and is also Operations Director. She is a Chartered Civil Engineer with over 18 years' of experience in the industry. She joined Infrata in 2016, from Aecom whom she was with for over 11 years through their legacy companies URS and Scott Wilson, bringing with her, her broad range of airport project experience and skills including master planning, feasibility assessments, due diligence studies, design and monitoring of major infrastructure developments worldwide including on the design of the New Istanbul Airport. Since joining Infrata she has been involved in projects across all infrastructure classes with her main focus in recent years being airports and the aviation industry. Eimear leads our services for both the US$9.5 billion, New Terminal One Project at JFK, which reached financial close in June last year, and the US$1.25 billion expansion project at Jorge Chávez International Airport, Lima which closed in December last year.
Luca Benedini is our Technical Director and Head of T&R at Infrata. He has 25 plus years of experience in the Transport and Energy Infrastructure sectors. He has substantial experience in supporting demand risk based transactions, offering demand and revenue advisory services to developers, investors and banks across Europe, the Americas, Asia and Africa. Luca has led projects on various types of tolled transportation infrastructures (roads, bridges, express lanes), and has managed demand forecasts for car parks, pipelines and irrigation water canals.
Prior to joining the consultancy business, Luca worked for ExxonMobil in a variety of commercial and supply optimisation roles both in the downstream and upstream businesses across Europe.
Luca obtained an MA in International Trades in Italy and an MSc in Transport at Imperial College, UK. He is a native Italian speaker and fluent in English and Spanish.
Mauricio is a Civil Engineer with over 20 years experience in the construction industry in Colombia and the UK. Through his experience, Mauricio has had the opportunity to take part on highly complex and challenging infrastructure projects, such as Crossrail in London. He has previously been involved in project management on various transport infrastructure projects in LATAM as an independent consultant, specialising on project, construction and risk management areas.
Jonathan has over 30 years of experience in the aviation sector. He has an extensive track record in the field of traffic forecasting, leading projects covering 225 different airports in more than 50 countries across the world. He also has expertise in the areas of strategy, route development and financial analysis.
Prior to becoming a consultant, Jonathan began his career at British Airways where he spent 7 years with management positions in Strategy, Network Development and Alliances.
Olma is an anthropologist, with an MSc in Environment and Development. She has 20 years' of experience in environmental and social management. She offers a deep knowledge of social, cultural and land matters.
She has worked for large consulting companies in Colombia as a director, project manager and as environmental and social advisor (LSA). She is an expert in due diligence, environmental compliance and asset acquisition processes for the lending bank, private investors and sponsors, with verification of compliance with IFC standards, Equator Principles, IDB safeguards and FDN guidelines.
Steve Wray is a shipping economist with extensive experience in market and financing studies for the port and shipping industries. In Steve's previous role he was responsible for maritime consultancy on a global basis. He has extensive experience in shipping, port and development projects, gained whilst working at Ocean Shipping Consultants and Royal Haskoning-DHV, in the consultancy field. Since becoming a consultant in 2007, he has produced numerous maritime studies related to the container industry and all other major shipping sectors, particularly in the African, Caribbean, Central America, North & South America, Canadian, Middle East, Mediterranean, Black Sea and Baltic regions. Steve is also a regular contributor on the conference circuit having given papers at conferences held in Accra, Odessa, Bilbao, Gdansk, Szczecin, Rostock, Tallinn, Riga, St. Petersburg, Klaipeda, Istanbul, Barcelona, Valencia, Amsterdam, London, Bremerhaven, Doha, Maputo, Dar-es-Salaam, Durban and Antananarivo on a variety of topics related to changes within the shipping industry and forecast predictions for the future developments. Before being recruited by OSC, he worked for more than 19 years with liner shipping companies P&O Containers, P&O Nedlloyd and Maersk Line. Steve has an intimate understanding of the perspective of the port users to analyses in this sector and have first-hand experience of the North European and Mediterranean/Black Sea container feeder markets, as well as Transatlantic, Transpacific and African/Red Sea deep sea and feeder trades.
Brendan is a sustainability consultant with over 20 years of experience. He provides high quality and pragmatic advisory services on both brownfield and greenfield projects across all infrastructure sectors and real estate.
He works in transactions and project finance, as well as supporting asset owners/operators to protect value and realise value potential. He does this through due diligence, environmental and social assessments, monitoring through construction and operations, mitigation and action planning, and focussed assessments covering climate risk, decarbonisation, human rights and more. He works to client-specific briefs and also to international environmental and social standards, including the Equator Principles, the IFC Performance Standards and the EBRD Environmental and Social Requirements.
Brendan also leads Infrata's work as an Approved Verifier of Climate Bonds and for assurance across other green, social and sustainable debt instruments.
He is a member of the Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals and a Chartered Environmentalist.
Ana Fernández González is a MSc in Civil Engineering (UPM), MBA expert in diverse challenges of construction and transportation business. She has a robust 18 years' history in international Public Private Partnerships and varied infrastructure projects providing end-to-end solutions.
Ana has closely liaised with all the stakeholders involved in the industry and the financing of projects in several countries. From the origination to the commissioning, ramp-up and operational stages and throughout the whole concession period. Ana has also led the deployment of best practices and corporate policies in all portfolio assets.
Antonio is a highly accomplished advisor with over 14 years of experience in the infrastructure and energy sectors. He has successfully led more than 90 asset transactions and financing projects across Europe, the Americas, APAC, the Middle East, and Africa. Currently serving as Technical Director, Antonio leads EMEA and APAC technical & capital projects advisory services for Infrata on multibillion projects.
His expertise encompasses contract and asset management for large capital projects, concessions, and construction contracts. Antonio specializes in risk management across diverse portfolios, ensuring investment protection and the optimization of returns.
Prior to joining Infrata, Antonio held key commercial and technical roles in strategic and large projects across the UK. He is a qualified MSc Civil Engineer and holds an MBA from the LSC.
Paul has over 30 years of experience in the global airports sector. He started his career with UK airports operator BAA in the 1990s supporting their strategy, commercial, and operational areas. He has been a consultant to airport operators, investors, lenders, economic regulators and governments since 2008, specialising in particular in traffic forecasting and assessment of airport profitability. Paul joined Infrata earlier in 2025 as a Technical Director.
He has advised at over 150 airports worldwide, ranging from some of the world's largest hubs to small regional airfields, across a range of airports with different governance and regulatory structures, and covering each of the main continents. In particular this has included extensive experience advising at airports in Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. In addition, Paul is a lecturer for Airports Council International in their global AMPAP programme.
Ray Powell is a Chartered Civil Engineer and Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation with more than 40 years of project experience in highways, rail (including light rail) and social infrastructure. Ray has spent over 30 years in the PPP field, providing technical advice to public and private sector clients, including bid management/direction, technical and commercial due diligence for bidding consortia, rating agencies, and lenders throughout the world. In addition to working on bid stage due diligence, Ray has also worked on construction, drawdown, operations, maintenance, and asset renewal monitoring.
John Gibbon is a Chartered Engineer and a leading transportation consultant. He specialises in railway planning, operations, multi-modal transportation systems, light rail systems, airports, and ports.
John has been involved in the financial modelling of transportation infrastructure, such that it can be reviewed for privatisation, restructuring, or investment from the public or private sector.
Weronika is a Managing Consultant at Infrata and has over 16 years of experience as technical advisor on public private partnership (PPP/P3) transport and social infrastructure projects in Europe, North America, Middle East and Africa covering both primary and secondary market transactions.
Weronika’s versatile experience includes: transaction advisory services for PPP transport projects to grantors, lenders due diligence (including post financial close construction monitoring and operations monitoring), secondary market transactions (buyers and vendors) with due diligence reviews ranging from single asset to large portfolio of assets, pavement asset management, highways maintenance and assessment of lifecycle provisions for long-term road concessions and transport related assets.
Ruth is a MSc Civil Engineer (UPM) and a Certified PPP Professional (APMG). A senior business development, technical & commercial and asset management executive with more than 22 years of experience in the global infrastructure market, she has a proven track record in several sectors and geographies, both as an equity investor and as an independent adviser.
As an equity investor, Ruth brings extensive hands-on experience in large infrastructure projects, both greenfield and brownfield, in all their different phases, including development, financing/refinancing, acquisitions/divestments, and asset management.
As an independent adviser, she has a broad experience acting as LTA to top-tier international financial institutions (including institutional investors and multilaterals) for the financing, refinancing, and monitoring of large infrastructure assets, and also as technical & commercial due diligence adviser to equity investors, industrial and financial, in competitive and bilateral sale processes, both on the buy and sell sides.
Ruth´s expertise comprises business development and technical & commercial and asset management of large and complex infrastructure assets. Before joining Infrata, Ruth has held senior positions in Globalvia and Sener.
Nadine is a Managing Consultant who has been providing traffic and revenue advisory services to Sponsors, Lenders and Investors for tolled infrastructure projects in Europe, Asia and the Americas for over 15 years. Her particular expertise lies in the development and review of network models for the purpose of traffic and revenue forecasting.
Prior to joining Infrata Nadine gained substantial experience as a transport modeller at Mott MacDonald building strategic network models for forecasting traffic on highway and multi-modal transport projects globally.
Nadine holds an MSc in Civil Engineering from the Technical University of Braunschweig in Germany where she specialized in transport planning, railways and highways. She is a native German speaker and fluent in English.
Joe is a Managing Consultant based in London. He has over 13 years of experience in airport advisory specialising in airport due diligence and transaction advisory working with Lenders, Investors, Operators and Governments. He has worked on over 135 airport projects. Prior to joining Infrata, Joe was Aviation Market Sector Lead at Jacobs’ Strategic Consulting unit. He has worked as an independent consultant and previously at Mott MacDonald. Joe holds a MSc in Infrastructure Investment and Finance from UCL.
Mitchell Stirling is a Managing Consultant, with over 15 years of experience in the transport and infrastructure industry. He specialises in strategic forecasting, scenario modelling, and data-driven decision-making. At Heathrow Airport, Mitchell led the delivery of medium-term passenger forecasts and strategic baggage demand modelling to support business planning and capacity development. He also oversaw surface access data strategy and reporting, contributing to sustainable transport planning and policy engagement.
He has studied Applied Statistics (BSc) at the University of Reading and Scenario Planning at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Mitchell is a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society and is passionate about using data to shape sustainable and efficient transport strategies.
Gabriela is a Principal Consultant on the Technical Advisory team at Infrata. With over 7 years of experience, Gabriela’s career and professional interests include construction planning, supervision and management (cost estimation, scheduling, contract management and contract supervision, among others), as well as due diligence and monitoring of both traditional infrastructure loans (i.e., financing provided by development banks to public sector entities), also project finance transactions in different infrastructure sectors (roads, rail, social infrastructure, among others) and regions (North America, EMEA and LATAM).
Her qualifications include a Civil Engineering and a M.Sc. in Construction Management degrees, obtained at the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (Ecuador) and National Cheng Kung University (Taiwan), respectively. Gabriela is fluent in English and Spanish.’
Adam has 11 years’ experience in the airport sector, leading the business plan modelling on many airport equity and debt transactions across the globe. He has contributed to projects encompassing over 100 global airports.
Adam specialises in business plan forecasting and supporting analysis including detailed benchmarking studies and airport economic regulation models.
Prior to joining Altitude / Infrata, Adam worked for Macquarie Bank leading analysis on fast paced transactions.
Albert is a Civil Engineer with over 7 years of experience in the transport infrastructure sector, specialising in maritime, ports and logistics advisory.
He supports port authorities, terminal operators, lenders and investors on the commercial and financial structuring and due diligence of port concessions and terminal developments. He has participated in and led projects across Europe, Latin America, North America, Africa and the Middle East. His work includes commercial due diligence, feasibility studies, traffic and revenue forecasting, tariff strategy, and business plan development for both greenfield and brownfield terminals.

Alejandro is a Civil Engineer with over 15 years of experience and postgraduate degrees in roads and Project Management; currently, he is studying a Master's degree in Financial Management. During his professional career, he has been involved in many Infrastructure and road construction projects like 1G, 3G, and 4G Concessions in Colombia, South America.
Assaad Abou Karam is a Principal Consultant at Infrata and a Chartered Civil Engineer with a double degree from École des Ponts and ESIB Lebanon. He brings over 15 years of experience in the aviation sector advising on several airport projects.
At Infrata, Assaad has played a key role in delivering Lenders Technical Advisory role and construction monitoring across multiple international markets including France, Cabo Verde, Türkiye and Guinea Bissau. Prior to joining Infrata, Assaad contributed to major airport infrastructure projects in Europe such as the runway resurfacing and the new Rapid Exit taxiway in Gatwick Airport and two terminal extensions at Paris Orly Airport.

Cristian Niño is a Sustainability Principal Consultant at Infrata. He is a Sanitary and Environmental Engineer with a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Barcelona. He has over 20 years of experience in environmental and social management of projects across sectors such as road infrastructure, gas pipelines, ports, solar energy, agribusiness, industry, and telecommunications. Cristian has worked with international consulting firms as a project manager and environmental and social specialist, providing advisory services for lenders, investors, and sponsors. His expertise includes conducting due diligence processes and monitoring project construction and operation on projects in Colombia, Peru, Uruguay, Chile and Argentina. He has extensive knowledge of international standards such as the IFC Performance Standards, the Equator Principles, the IDB Sustainability Framework, and green taxonomy. His native language is Spanish and he is fluent in English.
Erika is an Environmental Engineer and holds a M.Sc. in Environmental Engineering and Project Management from the University of Leeds. She has over 15 years of experience in highways, social infrastructure, water, and air management, Oil & Gas, mining, manufacturing, and energy projects. She is experienced auditor of Environmental, Health and Safety compliance projects under ISO 14001, 9001, 45001 and OSHAS 18001. Also, she is an expert in ESIAs, ESMPs, and H&S assessments, due diligence and monitoring Action Plan under Environmental and Social Performance Standards (IFC), Equator Principles, ICMM standards, SFDR, and/or green taxonomy requirements. Her experience has been mainly in LatAm, Europe and South Africa. Her native language is Spanish and she is fluent in English.
Eva is MSc in Civil Engineering with over 7 years of professional experience in the transport infrastructure sector. She has been engaged in diverse projects encompassing demand studies and technical assessments, as well as strategic planning for various transport infrastructures such as roads, rail, ports, and logistics terminals.
Throughout her career, she has participated in the analysis of transport infrastructure assets, working for the public sector, private investors, lenders, operators, and multilateral institutions. Her experience covers different geographies including Europe, North America, LATAM, Africa & the Middle East.

Hind is a Principal Consultant with close to 15 years of experience in successfully providing technical advisory services on major capital projects in North America and Africa. She is an Architect by training and holds a MSc Urban Development Planning from University College London. She has led numerous technical advisory mandates on major infrastructure and energy projects, including utilities, land development, highways, rail, transit, and social infrastructure. That included technical due diligence reviews, alternative finance, procurement, P3 delivery, Lenders Technical Advisory and Independent Certifier roles on major projects with CAPEX up to $6.9B

Juan is a Civil Engineer with over 15 years' experience and wide technical knowledge in Project Control. Juan has a degree in Civil Engineering from Escuela Colombiana de Ingeniería. He has been involved in different construction projects in Colombia sectors such as, oil & gas and road infrastructure. Juan is a Project Management Specialist with PMP certification, he also has an MBA in General Management. He has led diligence for projects in Colombia, Chile, Peru, Uruguay and Paraguay. Lisa has over 15 years experience in the aviation industry and is the lead in capital investment and capacity modelling, including developing infrastructure block planning, detailed benchmarking analysis and investment forecasts for many airport equity and debt transactions around the globe. She has contributed to projects at over 50 airports including several recent major transaction studies for airports in Europe.
She graduated in 2009 from the University of Surrey with a First Class Honours degree in English Local History and received an MA in Digital Heritage from the University of Leicester in 2011.
Michael is a Senior consultant on the Aviation and Economics team at Infrata. He provides socioeconomic analysis, traffic forecasting and due diligence services on a wide range of infrastructure projects globally. Prior to joining Infrata, Michael worked as a consultant at an aviation advisory consultancy firm. Michael holds an integrated Masters in Mathematics from the University of Surrey.
Michele has 12 years advising investors, developers, and international financial institutions (EBRD, EIB, ADB) on decarbonisation, climate resilience, and ESG compliance for toll roads, airports, water facilities, and ports across the US, Europe, and Africa. Led engagements with development banks and national governments developing decarbonization roadmaps and sustainable finance frameworks. Provided technical advisory, lifecycle assessments, and cost–benefit analysis for major clients and was a Manager in the UK's Department for Transport reforming rail concessions. Supported M&A due diligence for international infrastructure assets including US toll roads and airports. Michele is a qualified engineer in Italy with a bachelor's in civil engineering and an MSc in international planning from UCL.
Nazeen is a Principal Consultant with over 15 years of experience in maritime research and advisory services. She specialises in providing investors, lenders, and project sponsors with in-depth analysis and insights into the commercial feasibility and operational efficiency of shipping and port services. Holding an MBA with a focus on shipping and port management, Nazeen has led numerous high-impact studies across the Europe, Middle East and Asia. Her expertise spans port throughput forecasting, cost competitiveness, maritime cluster development, competitive advantage modelling, supply and demand analysis, feasibility assessments, benchmarking, and strategic advisory for regulatory policy enhancement.
Nazeen also brings extensive experience in advising public sector maritime authorities, delivering gap analyses and supporting regulatory development initiatives to strengthen sectoral performance and governance.
Sevil is an environmental engineer with 15 years-experiences in environmental and social due diligence (ESDD), environmental and social construction and operation monitoring, environmental, health and safety (EHS) compliance and environmental and social impact assessment (ESIA) studies. She has participated in various ESIA, environmental and social gap analysis, ESDD and environmental and social monitoring studies conducted against host country legislation as well as guidelines of the various international financial institutions such as International Finance Corporation (IFC), European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), European Investment Bank (EIB) and Ex-im Bank etc. She has worked for Public Private Partnership (PPP) projects in the health and transportation sectors and also the private sector energy and manufacturing projects as part of lender environmental and social advisory services. She has an extensive experience and familiarity of project management in Turkey.
José is a senior aviation advisor with over 20 years of international experience supporting complex airport and aviation infrastructure programmes worldwide. He advises governments, regulators, airport operators, investors and lenders on strategic decision-making across the full airport lifecycle — from feasibility and master planning to delivery and operational readiness.
With a strong foundation in aeronautical engineering and business management, José bridges technical depth with strategic and financial insight. He has led multidisciplinary teams across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Africa, delivering high-impact advisory assignments in dynamic and highly regulated environments.
He has a natural ability to understand strategic priorities, navigate stakeholder complexity, and translate technical challenges into clear, pragmatic and value-driven recommendations, ensuring that his advisory is not only technically sound but also economically robust and aligned with long-term strategic objectives. José holds a BSc in Aeronautical Engineering (Airports and Air Transport specialisation) from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and an MBA from the Brussels Solvay School of Economics and Management.
Leonardo is a senior transport demand specialist with 17 years of experience advising on traffic and revenue forecasting for tolled and major transport infrastructure projects across Australia, Mexico, South America and the Middle East. He has supported sponsors, lenders and public-sector clients on more than 25 PPP and concession-based projects.
His expertise includes the development, interrogation and review of strategic and corridor-level demand models for toll roads and passenger rail, with a particular focus on pricing, behavioural modelling and revenue optimisation. He has led traffic and pricing workstreams on major reform and investment programs and has held senior roles with toll-road operators and international consultancies.
Earlier in this career, Leonardo worked for government authorities in Australia, for Transurban in corporate traffic forecasting and investment support functions, and for international consultancies including CH2M Hill, with assignments based in Dubai and Buenos Aires.
Leonardo holds an MA in Transport Economics from the University of Leeds. He is fluent in Spanish and English.
Vinicius is a Principal Consultant with over 10 years of experience in transportation and infrastructure projects in Brazil and abroad. He has managed projects and led teams working on behalf of concessionaries, consulting firms and public agencies.
Vinicius managed and delivered consulting projects in the land transportation sector for Public Authorities, Grantors, Investors and Lenders, covering technical disciplines broadly (Traffic & Revenue, Technical, ESG), with emphasis on Traffic & Revenue and Market Intelligence studies.
Also, he was Coordinator for Road PPP Projects Structuring at Infra S.A. (Brazilian Federal Government) and Corporate Manager of Traffic and Market Intelligence at Grupo EPR — a Brazilian holding company responsible for over 3.000 km of highway concessions).
Vinicius holds a degree in Civil Engineering and a MSc degree in Transportation Engineering, both from Polytechnic School of University of São Paulo (Poli-USP). He is native in Portuguese and fluent in English and Spanish.

Jorge is MSc. Civil Engineer specialized in Geotechnics, with more than 16 years of experience in coordination, design and construction of global infrastructure projects. Jorge is a Principal Consultant at Infrata, based in Bogotá.
At Infrata, Jorge has managed the due diligence and construction monitoring of several of our most high-profile infrastructure projects in the region, including: Red Vial 4, COARS Schools (Peru), Autopista al Mar II, Transversal del Sisga, Accesos Norte 2 (Colombia), La Libertad Prison, Punta de Rieles UPPL Expansion N°2 (Uruguay), Guadalajara Metro Line 4 (Mexico), among others.
In addition, Jorge brings 8 years of experience in the area of management, coordination and design in geotechnical road and building projects, which includes tunnels, slopes, embankments and zodmes, working with highly recognized engineering firms in the country.
Giacomo is a Principal Consultant in the Infrata Aviation Technical team, based in the London Office. He has more than 9 years of experience delivering airport masterplans and supporting strategic planning in complex, regulated aviation environments. Has contributed to major airport masterplanning projects, driving stakeholder alignment and decision-making across technical and operational teams.
Before joining Infrata, Giacomo led the Vertiport Planning team at Skyports Infrastructure, delivering the first commercial vertiport network globally. Giacomo also worked as Senior Airport Planner at Atkins Réalis, on airport projects both in the U.K. and internationally.
Giacomo holds a BSc in Aerospace Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan, and a MSc in Airport Planning and Management from Cranfield University. He is fluent in English and Italian.
David is a Principal Consultant in the Transport & Infrastructure team at Infrata, with over six years of experience in the infrastructure concessions sector. He is a MSc Civil Engineer with a strong background in PPP and concession-based projects, combining technical, operational and contractual expertise in transport infrastructure assets.
Throughout his career, David has participated in more than 30 PPP projects across Europe, North America and Latin America, covering highways, rail systems and other transport infrastructure assets. His experience includes technical due diligence, operational cost analysis, benchmarking, and the review of concession agreements and performance regimes. He has worked primarily with institutional investors and asset managers, supporting M&A transactions and asset management decisions, and has also provided advisory services to lenders and project sponsors. Prior to joining Infrata, David worked in the technical departments of Sacyr and Acciona Concessions.
David is a native Spanish speaker, fluent in English, and has basic knowledge of Portuguese.
Xabier is Industrial Engineer with over 7 years’ experience in major infrastructure PPP projects mainly acting as O&M Bid Manager in LRT projects worldwide and as Technical Advisor in numerous multibillion major infrastructure transactions.
Before joining Infrata, over 5 years at CAF, Xabier gained exposure to rail PPP projects including O&M scope, getting used to working within international environments and multidisciplinary teams. This background makes him familiar with material contractual aspects and key risks of a rail project. Xabier brings to the organization a remarkable technical knowledge of OPEX and asset management matters within the rail sector.
As Technical Advisor, Xabier has been involved in numerous major infrastructure projects supporting both lenders and equity investors for the success of the transaction, particularly during bidding and financial close stages. Xabier has participated in projects across several sectors across the world such as rail, roads, energy storage and social infrastructure involving technical due diligence and construction and operations monitoring activities.
